Yes raw photo or video files are available as an add-on for +$35 for photos and +$50 for videos.
Travel fees are applied based on location
The time depends on the season, but the best light is always in early mornings and late afternoons typically. However, shooting outdoors is great when we have overcast also. Generally we suggest booking outdoor sessions in the mornings or afternoons. Indoor sessions in the middle of the day, and studio sessions any time!
You bet! First, we look for the areas with the best light. Then location second. But we keep things moving, so you will get a variety of backdrops and scenes from one shoot location. If you would like to try a couple locations, we always suggest adding a bit of extra time, so we can explore and have fun.
Short answer is YES, we got you! We’re firm believers in “prompting vs posing”. Our shoots are activity based, meaning we’ll give you something to do, vs tell you what to do. This keeps things, casual, flowing, and fun. No stiff posing. We love it when you have an activity planned, like a picnic at the park, or a hike at a nearby trail. It doesn’t need to be perfect, so have fun with these ideas.
Some of our favourite shoots have been out in the rain, so if you’re feeling adventurous, we’d love to shoot in the rain. We know lots of cool spots that are covered outdoors also. Or you can move your shoot to inside your home or into our studio space. And if you’d prefer to re-schedule, no problem, please let us know a minimum of 24 hours in advance or fees will apply. Please just contact us by e-mail, and they will be happy to set up a new time.
