What to know before the shoot.

Low-Medium
Hard-packed gravel roads and some boardwalk, muddy in spring or after heavy rain. Longest walk is about 420 m.

Permits
A TRCA photo permit is mandatory
The standard permit is $315 + HST for up to 20 people including the photographer, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no site access after 4 p.m. TRCA also lists a $175 + HST couples permit. Booked at trca.checkfront.com. Non refundable, exterior only per the Village.

Both permits include one vehicle. Drivers take a ticket from the machine, and extra cars are charged the $8.20 + HST visitor rate at the admissions kiosk. Open Wednesday to Sunday only, April 25 to December 23, 2026.
