01 Elope In Toronto

Toronto elopement photographer for City Hall days, backyard vows, and small rooms full of people you love.

Now booking 2026 and 2027. I take a limited number of weddings each year.

02 Small On Purpose

A considered wedding, not a lesser one.

You are not skipping anything. You looked at the production, the seating charts, the eighteen month timeline, and you chose the part that matters: the two of you, the words, and a few people you love in the room.

I photograph it the same way you planned it. I am one photographer with one calm voice. No crew, no shot list barked across the room, no choreography. I arrive early, I keep things easy, and I stay out of the way of the real thing.

City Hall on a Tuesday. A backyard with twelve chairs. A long restaurant table after the vows. I have photographed this exact day many times, and it deserves to be done beautifully.

04 The Practical Part

How eloping in Toronto actually works.

The legal part is simpler than most couples expect. Four things to arrange, all of them straightforward. If anything here is unclear, just ask me.

The short version: licence, chamber, two witnesses, done.

i.

The marriage licence

About $160, issued by the city, and valid for 90 days. Bring it with you on the day.

ii.

The ceremony

A City Hall wedding chamber ceremony runs about $325 including tax. Short, real, and lovelier than its reputation.

iii.

Two witnesses

Anyone 18 or older. Two friends, two parents, or two people who love you enough to show up on a weekday.

iv.

Booking the chamber

Wedding chambers are booked online or by phone through the city. Pick the slot, then send me the date.

06 Questions

Asked before booking.

Short, honest answers to what couples ask me most about eloping.

Do you only photograph City Hall elopements?

No. City Hall is the classic, but I photograph backyards, restaurant dinners, Osgoode Hall, living rooms, anywhere intimate. If it fits 2 to 20 people, it fits me.

When will we see our photos?

A sneak peek within days. For civil ceremonies the full gallery arrives in 2 to 4 weeks. For longer days I confirm the timeline before you book, so there are no surprises.

Is travel included?

GTA travel is included. Beyond the GTA, travel is at cost and quoted upfront, before you commit to anything.

What do we need to legally marry in Toronto?

A marriage licence (about $160, valid 90 days) and two witnesses aged 18 or older. If you want the City Hall wedding chambers, book them online or by phone. The practical guide above covers the rest.

Can we get the raw files?

Yes. For sessions and civil ceremonies, raw photo files are $51.25 and raw video files are $101.25. Most couples find the edited gallery is what they actually want, but the option is there.

Is a weekday elopement cheaper?

No, and I would rather be straight about it: my pricing is flat and public. The Civil Ceremony is $501.25 whether it is a Tuesday morning or a Saturday afternoon. Weekdays are easier to book at City Hall, though.

Ready when you are

Is your date still open?

Tell me where and when. City Hall, a backyard, a restaurant after. I read every inquiry myself and reply within 24 hours, every time.
